Theo grew up in Cayce, South Carolina, graduating from Airport High School in 1969. He attended Clemson University from 1969 until 1973, graduating with honors in Secondary Education (History). At his college graduation, he received his commission as a Lieutenant in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer. He furthered his education at the University of South Carolina School of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 1976. Theo has been licensed to practice law in South Carolina since November of 1976. In addition to practicing law, he has held the position of Town Judge of Springdale, as well as Magistrate of the Lexington County Jail for the purposes of setting bonds and other related motions.
